N.A.T.A. Light and Medium-Duty program is the “Flagship” of the company. The program covers both basic and advanced towing and recovery techniques using light and medium-duty equipment.  

DAY 1:

Classroom - Approximately 5 hours

Part 1 - Introduction
Part 2 - Duties and Responsiblities
Part 3 - The Tow Truck
Part 4 - The Wheel Lift
Part 5 - The Car Carrier
Part 6 - The Dollies
Part 7 - Safe Braking and Steering Capacity

Hands-on Loading Procedures- Approximately 3 hours

DAY 2:

Classroom - Approximately 4 hours

Part 8 - Hazmat and Biohazards
Part 9 - Maintenance
Part 10 - Recovery
Part 11 - Medium-Duty Towability
Part 12 - Medium-Duty Rollovers

Rigging and Rollovers - Approximately 4 hours

Students will be split into teams of 2 or 3. There will be 10 hands-on recovery problems involving snatch blocks and vehicle rollovers. Each student will be assigned one or two problems.
